"Couldn't wish for a more welcoming B&B. This was the 7th year we have stayed with Jeff at The Old Stables on our annual visit for 3 days judging at Addington Manor Equestrian Centre and as in previous years we booked for next year as we left. Jeff is a great host and the accommodation has everything we need with great bedrooms and the freedom to come and go as we please - which is good as we are out the door very early each morning and back late in the evening. Jeff takes his customer feedback very seriously and every year there are changes that just improve what was already an excellent b&b. If you want comfort, a warm welcome, a 'nothing's too much trouble' service, the freedom to come and go as you please and a home from home, then book yourself in ........ but not on our weekend!"

"A typical cosy English cottage. My sister and I had a lovely stay in this old cottage in Winslow. Jeff was a wonderful host and we felt really welcome in his home. The house, bedroom and bathroom were very clean. The beds were really comfortable and we slept very well as there was absolutely no noise in the house or street, although there were other guests staying. The breakfast was delicious with a nice selection of cereals, bread and jams. We really felt at home! I recommend this place to everybody."

"A lovely couple of nights with Jeff and Zoe (the dog). We have just returned from a short break in Buckinghamshire, where we spent a lovely two nights with Jeff at The Stables B and B. Well what can I say, the house is full of character which you share the living area with Jeff and any other guests ( two other rooms), the room we had was well appointed, with furniture in keeping with the age of the property. We had an en-suite bathroom, which was lovely and had all you needed. The house had great Wi-Fi signal throughout, tons of films to watch on the TV via DVD player if so required. But the major plus with this B and B is Jeff and the atmosphere he creates, it is relaxed, friendly, making you feel that for the time you are there you are a friend he has welcomed into his home. The breakfast was lovely and was when you wanted it not just a set time, Jeff also recommended a local restaurant no more than 50 metres away ( paprika, now Toby’s) which had lovely food at very fair prices. All in all just a wonderful place to stay and if we revisit the area our number one choice of accommodation. "

"Couldn't have asked for a better B&B. We were totally blown away by the beauty of the property and garden. Everything was spotlessly clean, and clean towels were on the bed when we arrived. We had a fantastic weekend here."

"Relaxed Stay. We stayed with Jeff for one night in his lovely timbered period cottage in Winslow. Jeff was very welcoming and happy to have a chat. He told us to make ourselves at home and to use the kitchen whenever, which was nice. The room was clean and comfortable and the shower was very powerful. All in all a very pleasant stay.

"Fantastic Period Cottage. My wife and I stayed at The Stables B&B Winslow with our daughter and her fiancé while celebrating my daughter's birthday and attending at a 'Red Letter Day' experience nearby. The Old Stables are a delight and we were made to feel more than welcome by our host, Jeff. The rooms were very well presented and comfortable, with oak beams and other period features. We had a superb meal at a restaurant in the village (within walking distance) which was recommended by Jeff. The following morning we all enjoyed a full cooked English breakfast that set us up for the rest of day! Winslow is a beautiful village with many thatched cottages, tea rooms and shops. We would have loved to explore the area some more, but were limited on time. It certainly appears that there is plenty to do in the vicinity."

"Fantastic experience – highly recommended B&B. I stayed here for one night in early June 2011. The room was clean, the decor traditional and Jeff, the proprietor, could not have been more friendly. Huge breakfast.Very quiet but central location in this extremely pretty village. Can't fault it."

"Excellent B&B. The B&B is a short walk away from good restaurants, pubs and cafes, Jeff is an excellent host and made us feel very welcome. His breakfast was very good and is recommended. No hesitation in recommending this B&B -it's well worth the money."
